2010: Off to a Good Start
Due to a change in my work hours, I can no longer train as frequently as I used to. Previously, it was easy for me to get in at least 3 days of training a week. Now, getting in 3 days is a GREAT week. I typically can get at most 2 days in.
Despite my limited jiujitsu training, 2010 is still looking like it's off to a great start. I'm still training during the weekdays on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and when it permits, Fridays. Pretty muched booked for the next few weekends as far as plans go.
This weekend I'm going to Killington, Vermont. MLK weekend I am going to train at my gym on Saturday, and for Sunday and Monday I signed up for a terrain park camp at Mountain Creek. That should be dope as hell. The weekend after I'm going to a seminar at my gym where Braulio Estima (ADCC 2009 champion) will be schooling us on his winning ways. The last weekend of January I'll be in the Poconos.
I have a few more snowboarding trips lined up for February and March as well. As far as my weekdays go, as previously mentioned, I hit up my bjj gym 3 days a week and I lift on the other two days. The great thing about my schedule is that if I don't have anything planned for Saturday, I can always hit up my bjj gym which offers an mma class that is only offered on Saturdays.
And in between all these activities, whenever I have some downtime at home I've been trying to get caught up with The Wire. I know I'm late to the party with this one but better late than never. Just started watching season 1 this past weekend and I'm already on the 4th episode of season 2.
In sum: bjj, snowboarding, lifting and tv.
2010 will be pure dopeness.
